Single-shaft grinder

ForRec is an Italian company, a leading manufacturer of shredders, grinders and granulators for waste treatment.

Starting with reverse engineering, the client asked us to work on technological improvement of the processing of the AE1200 Single-shaft Grinder, optimizing existing processing.

A major upgrade was made to the machine's pusher, bringing it in line with customer standards. The main organ, the cutting shaft, was upgraded with specific interventions to improve component cleanliness and durability.

Improvements were implemented in order to align the machine with the safety standards required by the regulations.

Finally, we worked on the implementation of service spaces for on-board machine controls.

From the project then came the idea of proposing an aesthetic revision of the product to the client.
