Drilling machine

Comacchio S.r.l. specializes in mechanical design and manufacture of small, medium and large drilling machines.

It approached Rend to redesign the engine footprint of a drilling machine, with the inclusion of environmentally friendly exhaust systems.

The client provided data and specifications regarding the overall dimensions of the existing machinery.

Choices made during the pre-study were evaluated in parallel with the Comacchio engineering office for possible additional arrangements for assembly and maintenance.

Internal brackets required for mounting the new motors and associated components, as well as modifications for their housings and drafting of the complete technical drawings to proceed to production.

The entire 3D modeling phase was performed by Rend designers using SolidWorks software.
